Having a degree in business administration and economics from Uppsala University, Karin combined with journalism from Uppsala University, crisis communication, CSR and international relations, Karin has worked as senior reporter and news editor at Dagens Industri for many years.

In October 2014 Karin joined Sida, to work with the private sector collaboration, in nine different projects as communication manager financing for development, which includes Swedish Leadership for Sustainable Development. In 2015 Karin was assigned project manager of Sida’s first sustainability report. In spring 2016 Karin, together with the Director General, took the initiative to what is to day Swedish Investors for Sustainable Development, 16 large Swedish institutional investors and investment companies working with the SDGs. Together the have assets under management of 2 600 billion SEK.S
